Cyclobility opens a bike shop in the center of Lier

The new Cyclobility bike shop is located in the center of Lier, within walking distance of the city park and in the shadow of the iconic Zimmer Tower. Accessibility was a key factor in choosing the location of our new store in Lier. Strategically located near the R16, the shop is easily accessible via major cycling highways such as the F17, F103, F11 and F104. This makes us an ideal destination for both motorists and cyclists.

Moreover, our store is just 1.5 km from the train station and only a short walk from the main square, making it perfectly accessible for visitors using public transport or those who want to explore the center of Lier.

“The city of Lier has many commuters who travel daily to Antwerp or Mechelen by car. We want to encourage them to choose an electric bike or speed pedelec as the ideal mode of transport for their daily commute,” says founder Andries Aumann.

A bike needs to be tested

At Cyclobility, we are now opening our sixth bike shop . This is a conscious choice, as we see a growing demand from consumers to test a bike before purchasing it. In this way, we aim to meet the needs of cyclists in Lier.

In our bike shops, we ensure that you will find a wide range of test models for every type of bike. Our staff are happy to assist you with advice, expertise and a genuine passion for cycling to help you find the perfect bike.

We understand that you may sometimes have to wait in a bike shop. That’s why we have created a cozy seating area and a children’s corner in Lier. While our experts work on your bike, you can relax with a fresh cup of coffee.

A unique feature at Cyclobility is the interest-free bike loan you can take out. We cover the interest costs so people can buy a bike and repay it at their own pace. This allows us to offer the most affordable bike loan on the market. A concept that resonates!

At Cyclobility, quality and riding comfort come first. That’s why we carefully select the brands we include in our range. In our Lier store, you will find a wide selection of top brands, including Riese & Müller, Stromer, Moustache, Orbea and Scott. If any issues arise with a bike, customers can rely on our at-home service or bring their bike into the store.

We invite everyone to visit our new bike shop in Lier . We understand that it can be difficult for working people to stop by during regular opening hours, which is why our store is open until 8 p.m. every Thursday. Ideal for getting advice, testing a bike, or dropping off or picking up a repair.

About Cyclobility

Andries founded Cyclobility 7 years ago in Kluisbergen. He had one goal: to get as many people as possible on bikes for their daily commutes. Cyclobility leases bikes to companies for their employees’ commuting needs. Bike leasing can be offered in a fully budget-neutral way through salary exchange. By using gross salary exchange or allocating the gross end-of-year bonus, bike leasing becomes very financially attractive for employees. In this way, employees can choose a high-quality bike to comfortably commute to work.

Cyclobility offers a complete concept. The package includes the bike, all maintenance and repairs, all-risk insurance, roadside assistance and optimal service for the cyclist. Achieving 100% satisfaction is the goal. We also aim to fully relieve employers and HR departments of any burden.

Originally, opening bike shops was never the intention. However, at the request of our partners, we opened our first bike shop in Kluisbergen in 2021. With success, as in 2024 we are opening our sixth bike shop in Lier. In our bike shops, cyclists can come for maintenance and repairs, a test ride, the purchase of a new bike or cycling equipment.
