Breakdown on the road


Call the number on the sticker on your bike. This number is available 24/7.

Make sure to have the following information ready:

  • Your bike ID or license plate number (for speed pedelecs)

  • Your current location

  • A brief description of the issue

Our roadside assistance will only come if you are with your bike and the bike is in a location that can be easily accessed by a service vehicle.
If possible, we'll repair the bike on the spot to get you back on the road.

If the bike cannot be repaired on-site, we’ll take you and your bike to your home, your workplace, or your destination.

Geographical coverage
This service is available in the Benelux and up to 25 km beyond the Belgian borders.

General Terms & Conditions

A. GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Who can use this assistance policy?
Any bicycle that opted for bike assistance.
The assistance is linked to the bike, not to the individual. The customer will be asked to provide the specific bike ID when calling the number above. For speed pedelecs, the license plate number can also be provided.

2. Which bikes are included?
All bikes with an active bike assistance contract are covered by this policy.

3. Start and validity of the policy
The bike assistance package starts from the registration date unless explicitly stated otherwise. The lease contract specifies the duration. The assistance cannot be temporarily suspended.

4. Disputes
In case of disputes, only the courts of Antwerp have jurisdiction.

5. Disclaimer
Cyclobility Assistance cannot be held liable for failure, shortcomings, or delays in providing assistance due to circumstances beyond our control or in case of force majeure (e.g. war, insurrection, strike, travel restrictions, radioactivity, natural disasters, etc.).

6. Exclusions
Cyclobility Assistance does not intervene in the following cases:
• Cost of parts or materials (including estimates and dismantling by the bike repairer)
• Non-immobilizing incidents
• Repair or maintenance costs by bike shops
• Services not requested via VAB
• Damage during training or racing
• Towing and crane operations
• Theft or damage to personal items or bike accessories
• Assistance at a bike shop
• Bike removal ordered by authorities
• Any misuse or fraud
• Breakdowns due to modifications or non-original parts
• Neglected maintenance
• Inaccessible locations (e.g. forest paths)
• Medical assistance to the rider
• Call charges to the assistance center
• Lost bike lock keys
• Assistance outside the Benelux and more than 25 km beyond Belgian borders

7. Obligations of the insured
The insured must:
• Cooperate with all administrative procedures required for the assistance
• Provide correct information about the reported incident

B. ROADSIDE BIKE ASSISTANCE

1. Geographical coverage
Valid throughout the Benelux and up to 25 km beyond the Belgian borders.

2. When is assistance provided?
In case of immobilization due to a technical defect, theft, accident, or vandalism.
Assistance is only provided if the rider is present with the bike, and the location is accessible to an assistance vehicle.

3. What does the service include?
• Dispatch of a roadside technician after a call to the Cyclobility Assistance (available 24/7)
• If the bike cannot be repaired on-site, both the bike and rider will be transported to:
✓ the rider’s home
✓ the start or end point of the ride
✓ the rider’s workplace
