Leasing an electric cargo bike with Cyclobility is easy as pie: our team offers employers and employees a complete package. Bicycle leasing is a major step forward for your company!

Have you decided to team up with Cyclobility? Then we will come and give a presentation to all employees who are interested in leasing an electric cargo bike, or any other type of bike. After two weeks, during which employees can think about joining our leasing programme, we will organise an on-site test event, where people can test – and most likely will approve – all bikes.

We will create a unique web shop for each company, where employees can check cargo bike leasing rates. It is a custom website that enables the employer to monitor and follow up everything quickly and efficiently.

How much does it cost to lease a cargo bike?

Bicycle leasing includes renting a cargo bike and everything that is part of your cycling experience: maintenance, bike assistance and a replacement service. Cyclobility offers companies and their employees hassle-free bicycle leasing.

When leasing a cargo bike in Belgium, the employer and employee usually agree that a bicycle is made available in exchange for a salary deduction. That is great, because the contribution is deducted from the gross monthly pay, and therefore exempt from income tax and National Insurance, which means the employee only pays half of the actual cost.

And if the employer pays a bicycle allowance, it is actually possible to reduce the cost for the employee to zero. In some cases it is even possible to make a profit!

What are the advantages of an electric cargo bike?

A cargo bike has many advantages over a standard bike. A cargo bike is perfect for carrying lots of stuff, thanks to the large loading area between the front wheel and the handlebars. For example your weekly shopping, large parcels, children on the school run, and so on.

Our cargo bikes can be adapted to your personal needs. For example, you can choose a box with three child seats, or a fully enclosed container for shopping. You can also get box covers that are completely watertight, so your children or groceries will keep dry in rainy weather.

Next to cargo bikes, you can lease many other types of electric bicycles.
