How does leasing an e-bike work?

Leasing an e-bike with Cyclobility is easy as pie: our team offers employers and employees a complete package. E-bike leasing is a big step in the right direction for your company!

Has your company decided to team up with Cyclobility? Then we will come and give a presentation to all employees who are interested in leasing an e-bike. After two weeks, during which employees can consider whether they want to join our leasing programme, we will organise an on-site test event where people can test – and will most likely enjoy – all e-bikes.

We will create a unique web shop for each company, where employees can check bicycle leasing rates. It is a custom website that enables the employer to monitor and follow up everything quickly and efficiently.

How much does it cost to lease an e-bike?

Bicycle leasing includes renting an e-bike and everything that is part of your cycling experience: maintenance, bike assistance and a replacement service. Cyclobility offers companies and their employees hassle-free bicycle leasing.

When leasing an e-bike in Belgium, the employer and employee usually agree that a bicycle is provided in exchange for a salary deduction. And that is a wonderful thing, because the contribution is deducted from the gross monthly pay, and therefore exempt from income tax and National Insurance, which means the employee only pays half of the actual cost.

And if the employer pays a bicycle allowance, it is actually possible to reduce the cost for the employee to zero. In some cases it is even possible to make a profit!

Leasing a bicycle as a private individual unfortunately is not possible. But you can certainly buy an e-bike from us. Visit our webshop or drop by one of our bike shops in Ghent, Aalst, Roeselare, Sint-Niklaas, Lier or Kluisbergen.

Because we want you to be able to enjoy your daily commute without frustration, we have chosen the Bosch mid-motor for our electric bicycles.
