Cyclobility named most customer-friendly bike shop of 2023
Cyclobility Ghent has won the prestigious Tweewieler Award for Most Customer-Friendly Store of 2023. This recognition highlights Cyclobility’s unmatched commitment to customer focus and its ongoing dedication to outstanding customer service.
On Monday, November 6, 2023, the annual Tweewieler Awards were presented at the AFAS Theater in Leusden. Cyclobility’s bike shop in Ghent won the prestigious award for Most Customer-Friendly Store of 2023 . This recognition is a reward for the hard work and dedication of the Cyclobility team, which considers customer focus an essential part of its company philosophy. “It is an honor to receive this award, especially in a year in which we were so strongly represented in various categories. It confirms that our efforts to deliver exceptional service are appreciated,” says a proud Sjarel Buysschaert of Cyclobility.
Cyclobility stands out by focusing on customer centricity, always putting the customer first. “We listen to our customers. A complaint is an opportunity for us to improve and grow, and our customers appreciate that,” says the Cyclobility team. This approach has resulted in strong word-of-mouth, with satisfied customers sharing their positive experiences.
The in-store experience at Cyclobility also goes beyond just sales. Customers are welcomed with a smile, can enjoy a cup of coffee in the seating areas, and are invited to local events. Of course, they also receive professional advice tailored to their needs.

About the selection process
The Tweewieler Award is granted by an independent professional jury consisting of at least five members with diverse backgrounds, supported by specialists from various disciplines. The selection process starts with the nomination of fifteen companies based on applications, followed by a thorough evaluation, including a mystery shop visit and an assessment of online performance and customer reviews.
The finalists are then personally visited by the jury and specialists, who evaluate aspects such as motivation, future vision, entrepreneurship, customer focus, appearance, online performance, sustainability and financial results.
About Cyclobility
Andries founded Cyclobility 7 years ago in Kluisbergen. He had one goal: to get as many people as possible on a bike for their daily commuting. Cyclobility leases bikes to companies for their employees’ home-to-work travel. Bike leasing can be offered completely budget-neutral through salary exchange. By using gross salary exchange or allocating the gross year-end bonus, bike leasing becomes financially very attractive for employees. This allows them to choose a high-quality bike to commute comfortably.
Cyclobility offers a complete solution. The package includes the bike, all maintenance and repairs, comprehensive insurance, roadside assistance and optimal service for the cyclist. 100% satisfaction is the ultimate goal. We also aim to fully relieve employers and HR departments of any concerns.
Originally, opening bike shops was never the intention. However, at the request of our partners, we opened our first bike shop in Kluisbergen in 2021. With success, as in 2023 we opened our fifth bike shop in Sint-Niklaas . In our bike shops, cyclists can come for maintenance and repairs, a test ride, the purchase of a new bike or cycling equipment.
