Cyclobility in Zeeland: highlights of our team day 2023
Every year, usually in September, we close the doors of our shops and workshops to experience our team day. This year was no exception, and we once again chose the beautiful Zeeland as our destination. Discover how we experienced this day!
Doing what we do best: cycling!
The morning of our team day started early, but full of enthusiasm. Our manager, Andries, took the lead by setting off from Kluisbergen by bike in the early hours. Along his route to Zeeland, more and more colleagues joined him.
At a steady pace, we pedaled on, enjoying the fresh morning air and the rising sun. It was the perfect start to our day, full of energy and positivity.
Teamwork on the water
After a refreshing morning on the bike, it was time for the second part of our adventurous day: sailing on the Oosterschelde. Sailing is not only a fun experience, but it also symbolizes the journey we have undertaken as a team. Sailing requires teamwork, communication, and perseverance - qualities that we highly value at Cyclobility.
While we set sail four years ago with only five employees and one boat, this year we were 26 strong souls and required three boats. This is a growth that reflects not only our expansion as a team but also the strengthening of our mutual bond. A special word of thanks to Marco from Sailforce for the excellent organization and guidance during this sailing trip.
A cozy conclusion
After a day full of action and adventure, we concluded with a delicious dinner. It was a moment of relaxation, where we could enjoy each other's company and share the experiences of the day. Laughing, telling stories, and simply enjoying being together made our team day complete.
