New bike shop in the centre of Roeselare
On Tuesday, 16 November, Cyclobility opened its third shop. This time not in Ghent or Kluisbergen, but in the centre of Roeselare! Easily accessible by train, on foot, and of course by bike.
Andries Aumann, managing director of Cyclobility, founded Cyclobility five years ago in Kluisbergen, in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes. He himself is a passionate cyclist. With his company, he wanted to get more people on bikes for their daily commuting. Cyclobility leases bikes to companies for their employees’ home-to-work travel. Bike leasing can be offered completely budget-neutral through salary exchange. Through gross salary exchange or by using the gross end-of-year bonus, bike leasing becomes financially very advantageous for employees . In this way, employees can choose a high-quality bike that allows them to commute comfortably.
Cyclobility offers a total concept. The package includes the bike, all maintenance and repairs, full insurance, roadside assistance, and optimal service for the cyclist. 100% satisfaction is the goal. Employers and the HR departments of companies are also fully taken care of.
“It was never the intention to open bike shops,” says managing director Andries. Cyclobility comes to companies with its mobile test caravan and mobile service vans with its own highly skilled technicians. All bikes are purchased directly from manufacturers and then delivered to the employee’s home. When cyclists encounter a problem, they can always rely on Cyclobility. Repairs are carried out at home, and maintenance is offered several times a year on company premises. This allows them to act quickly and always provide the best service to their customers.
At the request of its partners, Cyclobility opened its first bike shop in Kluisbergen in 2021. Shortly after, it acquired BikeKing in Ghent, located in the climate-neutral district at the Nieuwe Dokken. At the end of 2021, it was time for the opening of the Cyclobility bike shop in Roeselare , the first bike shop right in the city’s main shopping street. As in all other branches, cyclists can come here for a test ride, maintenance and repairs, the purchase of a new bike or cycling equipment. Cyclobility not only sells and leases e-bikes or speed pedelecs, but also sporty bikes and cargo bikes.
Cycling is in the DNA of every Cyclobility employee. They organise a weekly team ride every Wednesday and even go on a team weekend to Zeeland by bike!
