  • No, bike leasing has minimal impact on your pension. This is because your pension is calculated based on your gross salary at the end of your career.

  • At the end of the lease, you have three options: return the bike, lease a new bike or purchase the bike at its residual value. Cyclobility will inform you well in advance about your options so you can make an informed decision.

  • Cyclobility provides end-to-end support. The administrative burden for educational institutions is kept to an absolute minimum. We streamline all administration, from applications and contracts to invoicing. Our team guides both the school board and employees every step of the way.

  • Yes! Teaching staff can include all legally permitted accessories in their lease package alongside the bicycle. This includes accessories attached to the bike, such as panniers, locks, or a GPS, but also safety gear, including helmets, can be added to the package.

  • Once registered with AZO and after finalizing a cooperation agreement, the bicycle leasing can get started quickly. The process can often be completed within a few weeks, depending on internal approvals and staff selections.

  • If an employee leaves, there are options to terminate the lease early. This can be taking over the bicycle or by paying a cancellation fee.

    At Cyclobility, we keep this cost as low as possible. We charge 7% of the catalogue value and €0 during the final quarter of the lease period.

  • Yes! Your lease bike can be used for both commuting and private purposes, with no additional restrictions.

  • Breakdown assistance is included in the lease contract. You can also opt for full (comprehensive) insurance to cover damage and theft. Cyclobility offers highly competitive insurance options. Ask in-store or contact info@cyclobility.be for details.

  • Yes! At the end of the lease, you have the option to purchase your bike at a predetermined residual value. Cyclobility will notify you in advance so you can make the best choice for you.

  • Yes, maintenance can be performed at any Cyclobility-approved local bike dealer. Regular servicing and repairs are often included in the lease package to keep your bike in top condition.

  • Personeelsleden die werken in scholen, CLB’s, pedagogische begeleidingsdiensten, scholengemeenschappen, leersteuncentra, onderwijsinternaten of scholengroepen, en die een eindejaarstoelage krijgen van AGODI of AHOVOKS, kunnen gebruikmaken van fietsleasing.

  • Onderwijsinstellingen die fietsleasing kunnen aanbieden aan personeelsleden zijn onder andere: basisscholen, secundaire scholen, deeltijds kunstonderwijs, volwassenenonderwijs, centra voor basiseducatie, CLB’s, pedagogische begeleidingsdiensten, internaten, leersteuncentra, hogescholen en universiteiten.

  • Het flexbudget in het Vlaamse onderwijs is een brutobedrag van de eindejaarstoelage dat personeelsleden vanaf 1 januari 2025 kunnen inzetten voor fietsleasing. Dit bedrag wordt rechtstreeks gebruikt, waardoor belasting- en sociale bijdragen vermeden worden. Zo ontstaat een fiscaal voordelige manier om een leasefiets te verkrijgen.

  • 1. Intentieverklaring indienen:

    Personeelsleden die willen meedoen met fietsleasing, moeten vóór de start van de opbouw van hun eindejaarstoelage aan hun schoolbestuur laten weten dat ze willen deelnemen. Ze geven ook aan hoeveel van hun brutotoelage ze als flexbudget willen gebruiken.

    2. Fiets kiezen en lease afsluiten:
    Het schoolbestuur sluit een overeenkomst met een fietsleasingmaatschappij zoals Cyclobility. Het personeelslid kiest een fiets uit het ruime aanbod. De kost van de lease wordt betaald met het flexbudget.

    3. Fiets gebruiken voor woon-werkverkeer:
    De leasefiets moet regelmatig gebruikt worden om (een deel van) het traject tussen thuis en werk af te leggen. Er is geen minimumafstand die met de fiets moet worden gereden.

    4. Afrekening op het einde van het jaar:
    Aan het einde van het jaar wordt de eindejaarstoelage berekend. AGODI of AHOVOKS trekt de leasekost van het flexbudget af.
